The purpose of the South Bethlehem Historical Society is to preserve and make known the Second Chapter of Bethlehem's History (1850 - on) by focusing on the individuals, ethnic groups and material evidence which helped make possible the industrialization of South Bethlehem
S.B.H.S. was incorporated in 1985 by Joan Campion, Adrienne Redd, Magdalena F. Szabo, John W. Trotter, Jr. Bernice R. Trotter, and Helene Whitaker.

Get Involved!Become a member When you become a member of the South Bethlehem Historical society, you help preserve the richness of south Bethlehem's steel-making years. You also receive the quarterly newsletter, Southern Exposure, which keeps you informed on current events, features and meetings of the society. Volunteer The Society needs volunteers. There are many ways in which you can share your talents with the Society. Most do not require a substantial time commitment. Donate We welcome your gifts of monetary contributions or artifacts and historical documents, photos, etc. Newsletter
Southern Exposure is the quarterly newsletter of the S.B.H.S. and is sent to all members. Archived copies are available online for registered members. Online Registration will be available online soon. |
